Steirastoma histrionicum, Lamiines Longhorn Beetle

The Lamiines Longhorn Beetle, Steirastoma histrionicum, is a long horned beetle with a brownish-black bark textured ridged body. They are known to be damaging pests to tree trunks at adult stages of its life, and even harmful at its larva cycle where it begins eating at the bark from underneath.

Males antennae length surpass its body length, females antennae do not. These beetles distributions range anywhere from Central America to Colombia.
