Steirastoma histrionicum FEMALE, Lamiines Longhorn Beetle

The Lamiines Longhorn Beetle, Steirastoma histrionicum, is a long horned beetle with a brownish-black bark lined textural ridged body. They are known to be damaging pests to tree trunks at adult stages of its life, and even harmful at its larva cycle where it begins eating at the bark from underneath. 

Females antennae length do not surpass their bodies compared to the males which do. These beetles distributions range anywhere from Central America to Colombia.
