The Bamboo Weevil, Cyrotrachelus dux, is a dark reddish-brown and black beetle from Asia. These are HUGE, and have long snouts and are given the common name "Bamboo Weevil" due to their larvae feed on bamboo sap. The males are larger in size with long frontal sturdy legs. They can be found in forests and bamboo plantations among various regions of Asia.
