It looks wet and it looks like a big nugget! It's entire body and shell (even underneath) shimmers like one of those granny green apples... and... it's legs and claws are metallic lavender!! It's stunning - and you will see why it is called a 'Jewel Scarab' beetle. Some legs and claws missing. Formerly 'Chrysina beetles' were known as Plusiotis beetles.
