Ornithoptera euphorion, the Cairns Birdwing, is one of Australia's largest butterflies. These big beauties bask in sunlight and are grand fliers. They have an incredible emerald green on their wings spotted with patches of gold, and the verso (underside) is EVEN more beautiful.. with aqua-marine colors that mimic the ocean!
