NOTES ON NEOTROPICAL DRAGONFLIES, OR ODONATA;
Owned by Alfred C. Kinsey. Alfred Kinsey was a renowned and controversial American scientist who taught zoology and botany at Harvard before going on to join faculty at Indiana University where he founded what would eventually become The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction. During his career, he would conduct over 18,000 interviews with Americans and publish several ground-breaking and controversial findings. One of which, was that most humans lie somewhere on a "spectrum" of sexuality as opposed to only on one side or another, an extreme suggestion for a scientist to make in the 1950s! He was also an enthusiast of butterflies and insects, and this is one of his reference books.
