These incredible insects are found in Central America and are famous for their long waxy tail filaments; their long whispy tails can reach up to 8inches long! The filamentous esters are a result of the large amounts of phloem that they eat from their host plants, which is thought to have evolved as a deterrent or distraction to predators and parasites.
It's been a long time since we've had these beauties, and they're VERY hard to get! So get one while you can!
